Infosys postpones joining dates for new employees

The second largest IT Company in India, Infosys, today postpones the joining dates for engineers for at least by three months as a part of their cost cutting formula. However, to compensate this unexpected delay, Infosys will now provide an exclusive online training program to the newly hires.

On Friday Infosys issued a statement which says, “In a tough business environment, we are taking certain cost optimization measures. These are necessary for us continue making strategic investments and afford the compensation increase that we are in the process of rolling out.”

Infosys had also announced 6% salary hike for offshore employees and 2-3% hike for the onsite employees, which will be effective from October.
