LG G Flex

LG launched the G flew a couple of years ago for a whopping Rs 66,000. The Novelty USP of the phone being it’s Curved Display. It was among the first phones to feature a curved display which was flexible enough not to break even when flattened.

As of the specifications go the LG G Flex boasts of a 6 inch POLED Curved display and although the resolution is only 720p the screen is surprisingly pleasant. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 800 coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage sadly there is no memory expansion slot. There is a 13 MP rear and 2 Mp front camera. The beast is powered by a 1,500 mAh battery and the back cover is made of Kevlar fiber.

iBall Slide i701

The Slide i701 was launched a few months back, it was among the cheapest tablets to support windows 8.1. i701 comes with a 7 inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. Under the hood is an Intel atom chipset running in at 1.8 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with expandability of up to 64 GB. There is a 2 MP primary and a VGA secondary camera. The Tab is being offered with a free HDMI cable and 3 Protective cases.

The Lenovo G50-30 sports a 15.6 inch HD LED display inside a plastic body on the outside and a bit of aluminum on the inside. There is Intel Pentium Quad Core N3540 processor with 4 GB of RAM to power the device. 500 GB of hard disk and 3 USB ports among with 2 are USB 2.0 and one is USB 3.0. there is 4 cell battery to power the laptop which gives about 4 to 4.5 hours of usage on a single charge.

The laptop comes with Accutype Keyboard and the only down points to the laptop is that it does not ship with windows pre-installed which means you’ll have to either buy Windows or use Linux. The other problem I have with the G50-30 is that the Build Quality although good is not great and it feels a bit weak overall.
