Movie Review: A Quiet Place

“A QUIET PLACE”, a bizarre name, right? How can a place be quiet? Except if it’s a library. What if the situations demand you to make the place quiet? Now, it’s even more curious. Let’s get to know more about this!

Cast: John Krasinski, Emily blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe

‘A Quiet Place’ is a movie that turns around a family. They are five in number. The movie opens in a silent place with the family in a grocery store with items barely in it. The thing that grabs your attention here is, they won’t speak with each other. The communication between them is non-verbal. Why are they communicating through signs? This question might arise in your mind.

The movie works on a one-liner, ‘if they hear you, they hunt you.’ The children are three, where one is a small kid who has no knowledge of the things happening around. When they are almost moving out of the grocery store, the kid asks for a toy but the father repudiates. Then the daughter looking at her poor brother gave the toy. When they are taking steps away from the grocery store, a monster arrives and takes away the kid in the blink of an eye. Why did this happen? This happened because the toy made some sound. This is the reason for the fathers refusal. The daughter gave the toy because she can’t hear her surroundings. I guess you got a brief outline regarding the movie. In this way the family lives, they cannot make sounds. Lee is their major protector. He spends hours figuring out the problem behind these attacks.

Silence is the only way to survive? Are they gonna stay like this forever?  If you want answers, go watch the movie.

‘A Quiet Place’ is a hair-raising thriller that makes the audience active. The extent of involvement would be high. So, what are you waiting for? Go experience this great thrill.
