Kauwboy Won Golden Elephant in ICFFI

Kauwboy, the Dutch movie by director  Boudewijn Koole has won the Golden Elephant for best film in the International Live-action Competition at this year’s International Children’s Film Festival of India.

KauwboyThe exceptional plot revolves around how Jojo,a 10 year old boy with a difficult home life found solace in an abandoned jackdaw revived his relationship with his father. The 81 minute long drama isan excellent treat for the audiences throughout world. Released in March 2012 – the movie won accolades throughout.

Some of the other winners worth mentioning at ICFFI are –

·         Golden plaque for Second Best Live Action Feature – A Horse On The Balcony
·         Golden Elephant for Best Live Action Director – Kaphal – Batul Mukhtiar
·         Golden Elephant for Best Live Action Screenplay – Nono, The Zigzag Kid

The festival wrapped up in Hyderabad, India on 20th November 2013.
