Fourth witness identifies Salman Khan in Hit and run case

Trouble is mounting for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the fourth witness has identified him in the hit and run case. The witness said before Mumbai Sessions Court on Monday that Salman was drunk in that ill-fated night in 2002.

According to the witness, Salman and his friends had ordered drinks that night. After which the actor is accused of driving drunk and ran over people in suburban Bandra in 2002. One person was killed person and four others were injured in the accident.

Earlier three witnesses had identified him in the case. One witness even said that he saw the actor exit the vehicle from the driver’s side. One of the witnesses had complained that she had received a threatening call.

In December last year, a Mumbai court ordered a fresh trial in the case. He is now accused of culpable homicide in the hit-and-run case and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
