Bollywood’s First Superstar Rajesh Khanna Passed Away

Bollywood’s first superstar ‘Rajesh Khanna passed away toady at his home in Mumbai. He was 69.

He was suffering from kidney problem for the last few months and was admitted to Lilavati hospital last week but released on Tuesday.

Rajesh Khann’s ex-wife  Dimple Kapadia, both of his daughters Twinkle and Rinke and his  son-in-law Akshay Kuma were present beside him at that time.

Originally named as Jatin Khanna, he born on 29 December 1942 in Amritsar. He later changed his name to Rajesh Khanna. He made his debut in Bollywood with “Aakhri Khat” in 1966. Rajesh Khanna was tagged as Bollywood’s first superstar for giving hits after hits. Some of his memorable movies are: Safar, Kati Patang, Sachaa Jhutha, Aan Milo Sajna, Anand, Amar Prem, Mere Jeevan Saathi, Aradhana, Do Raaste, Prem Kahani

The last rites will be held on Thursday morning at 11 O’clock.
