Screen Adaptations of Books in 2023

Screen Adaptations of Books in 2023 list is continuously growing.  Directors and showrunners are drawing from contemporary to children to classics to adapt and readapt the book pages into screenplays. We have already spent two-third of the year and have seen several books becoming movies. Some have made it to bigscreen others were for OTT.

 

 

So far we have seen the movies like The Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante, The Witching Hour by Anne Rice, The Pale Blue Eye Louis Bayard, The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud, American Prometheus by KAI Bird And Martin J. Sherwin. American Prometheus was the biggest inspirariopn and source of movie Oppenheimer which arguably one of the best movie of Christopher Nolan andbox office results says the same.

 

In upcoming months we will experience and see either on silver screen or on Netflix more books into movie adaptations. The Trench by Steve Alten, Dracula by Bram Stoker, Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie, The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty, Dune by Frank Herbert, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl and The Color Purple by Alice Walker – are some of the eagerly awaiting movies to watch.
