Xolo Black the phone with 2 cameras

Xolo has launched black, A new smartphone exclusively on flipkart to fight against the rivals like Yu Yureka and Mi 4i.

As of the specifications go the phone comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD OGS display panel with the pixel density of 401 ppi, the phone is 7.3 mm thick and is protected by gorilla glass 3 at the front as well as back. There is a LED backlit power button which also doubles up as notification LED for notifications. On the inside the phone is powered by snapdragon 615 (second generation) octa core 64 bit chipset supplemented with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on board storage which can be expanded with the help of the humble Micro SD card. The graphics are powered by Adreno 405.

The USP of the device is its cameras which boast of 2 sensors to help focus really fast (0.15 second claimed) and CromaFlash, The main camera boasts of 13 MP sensor while the secondary sensor is of 2 MP. The dual camera set up which is previously seen on the HTC M8 wasn’t a very huge success though it was an excellent feature to have. What the dual cameras essentially do is adjust the depth of focus and even change it after an image has been clicked. On the front the Black boasts of a 5 MP shooter with diffused flash.

The phone is powered by 3200 mAh battery with support for quick charge technology which can charge the phones at higher speeds, the phone runs on Hive UI xolo’s very own user interface which is based on android lollipop 5.0. The phone supports 4G LTE connectivity along with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS while housing the usual other connectivity options.

The black comes with a pre-loaded Comet browser which claims to be 20% faster while consuming 90% less data, the phone will be exclusively sold on Flipkart without the Flash sales. Also, Vodafone users buying the smartphone will also be entitled to 1GB of free data per month for a period of two months or unlimited music download from the Vodafone Music Application for the same time period.
