Yu launches the Yunique

Yu televentues the online only subsidiary of Micromax today launched a low cost 4G handset priced at Rs. 4,999.

The handset flaunts a 4.7 inch 720p HD IPS display along with gorilla glass 3 protection, under the hood lies a Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset which comes along with 1 GB of RAM.

There is 8 GB of internal storage along with a micro SD expansion slot which lets you expand the memory up to 32 GB, also on offer are features like FM radio, 4G LTE, dual sim card slots, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The cameras sensor used on the rear is a 8 MP one with LED flash along with a 2 MP front camera with 86 degree wide angle lens. The phone runs on cyanogen OS 12.1 which is based on android lollipop.

The phone will be sold in the traditional flash sale method, it will be available for sale on snapdeal on 15^th of September and registration will close on 14^th of September. The phone is a snapdeal exclusive which can backfire for Yu.
