Nokia will come up with another Touch and Type phone in the market very soon. After success of X3-02 and C3-01 – Touch and Type phones, this would be Nokia’s third addition to its vast range and will be known as C2-06.

C2-06 is a Dual SIM, low end 2G slider phone with touch screen facility. It is expected that it would be similar to Nokia X3-02 and Nokia C3-01.

As per grapevine, C2-06 will be quite similar in appearance to that of a phone in leaked March, though there may be a few substantial differences in the features. Nokia C2-06 will have a 2 MP camera, 3 .5 audio jack, micro USB port and a BL-5C battery. But it will not have any dedicated GPS receiver and Wi-Fi connectivity though it will support Bluetooth.
Nokia is aiming the C2-06 mobile at the low-end market where they are holding a slight edge over competitors.
The Nokia C2-06 is expected to be priced between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 8,000.
