Honor the Sub-Brand of Huawei launched the Honor 7 at an event recently. The 16 GB version of the Honor 7 is priced at Rs. 22,999 and has been selling via Flipkart from 15th of October. The company has no plans of launching the 32 and 64 GB versions as of now.
The honor 7 sports a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p display with 423ppi pixel density. It comes company’s own 64-bit octa-core Kirin 935 processor (four Cortex-A53 cores at 2.2GHz + four Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz) coupled with 3GB of RAM, long with 16 GB of on-board storage there is also a slot for expanding the memory via the help of Micro SD card.
The Honor 7 ships with a 20-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus can deliver autofocus speeds of 0.1 seconds. The sensor used is Sony IMX230 sensor. There is f/2.0 aperture along with dual LED flash and 6 lens module, the outside is protected by sapphire glass. There is also a wide angle Selfie camera with 8 MP sensor. The Honor 7 also features a fingerprint sensor right below the rear camera that is claimed to read fingerprints in 0.5 seconds.
The body on the Honor is made of aluminum which gives it a premium finish, connectivity options remain the usual like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC etc. there is a 3,100 mAh battery along with fast charging support. It also comes with ith a reverse charging feature that lets users charge other devices using the smartphone.
The phone runs on android 5.0 wrapped under emotions UI 3.1
