Canon EOS 70D-The latest SLR with loads of attractive features

Canon is the one name that has conquered the world of photography with its excellent cameras that are used both by amateurs as well as by professionals. Canon EOS 70D is the latest SLR that has started attracting the attention of photography lovers from all round the world. EOS 70D is an upgrade version of EOS 60D. The latest EOS 70D has taken some of the best features from EOS 7D, the version that came out during 2009 and many other models of Canon that were popular among the masses.  The features that are borrowed to EOS 70D include auto focus sensor from EOS 7D, touch screen from ESO 700D and Wi-Fi facility from EOS 6D.

EOS 70D replaces the previous version 60D in many ways. Viewfinder of 70D is larger compared to the other models of Canon. You will find a single function buttons in 70D and it has an LCD screen on the top part of the camera. There is a command dial and rear wheel for the purpose of controlling the settings of exposure. The one plus point of 70D is that it is much quicker than 60D as well as 700D.

SLR’s as a whole make use of combination of buttons and single control wheel for adjusting the lens. This is actually perfect for amateurs. But professionals would find it difficult to adjust the exposure and shutter speed of the aperture and hence Canon EOS 70D has two control wheels. There is a small control wheel on the top part of the handgrip and the large one on the back portion of the camera. Canon 70D has an image sensor, APS-C type CMOS chip with 20.2 megapixel. The resolution of the camera has been improved a lot from the previous version, Canon 60D. Though Canon 70D looks similar to Canon 60D, the previous version, it does have a design that is totally new and unique. The top view of Canon 70D is similar to that of 60D. Features like two four-hole ports for microphone are found at the rear part. You will also find a new button between the front dial and the shutter button. This very control is used for the purpose of selecting the modes of autofocus areas.

Handling low light is done perfect wit Canon 70D. Yet another catchy feature of this camera is that it is extremely light compared to the previous versions. Shooting videos with 70D is smooth since it has auto-focusing unlike 5D Mark II and 7D that are equipped only with manual focusing for video.
