West Indies beat India by 1 wicket in a thriller

Host West Indies beat India by one wicket in a thrilling end in the second one-day international of ongoing tri-series in Kingston on Sunday.

Opener Johnson Charles’s brilliant 97 and Darren Bravo’s 55 help West Indies to knock down the target of 229 set by current world champion and recent Champions trophy winner – India.

Umesh Yadav emerged as top Indian bowler to claim 3 wickets for 43. Ravichandran Ashwin  and Ishant Sharma took 2 each.

Earlier India made 229 for 7 in their scheduled 50 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 60 and Suresh Raina made 44.
