Rafael Nadal beat Juan Martin del Potro 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the final of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California on Sunday.
Nadal’s remarkable comeback from knee injury continues as he took two hours 29 minutes to win his third Indian Wells ATP Masters title.
This is also first hard court title since 2010 for former world number one.
“It’s probably one of the most emotional victories of my career. The support since I came back has been huge. It’s an unforgettable week for me and an unforgettable tournament,” said Nadal after the match.
