Giggs gets off the mark straight-a-way

Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata marked the beginning of the post-David Moyes days for Manchester United in the “United” way as they beat Norwich City 4-0 quite comfortably. Rooney scored in the either halves of the match to provide United a 2-0 lead and as Mata came on as substitute United netted a couple more to seal the firstManchester United beat FBL-ENG-PR-MAN UTD-NORWICHNorwich City 4-0 win for Ryan Giggs as Manchester United manager.

United began on a real positive intent as they were looking more dangerous than what they have been looking all throughout the season. They not only kept the possession but managed to penetrate in the opponent’s penalty area. But somehow couldn’t manage to find the opening goal. it was from one defensive scramble that the ball fell to Danny Welbeck’s foot and as he was fouled referee pointed to the spot. Rooney made no mistake from the spot to find the back of the net with just 5 minutes remaining in the first half.

It was from the beginning of the second half it seemed that United can score any moment. And they didn’t have to wait long as Rooney gave them the second of the afternoon from the distance. United began controlling the proceedings and once Juan Mata came in as a substitute to Tom Cleverley there was no one stopping United. Mata scored twice since coming on and United made it in the end with the scoreline reading 4-0. It could have easily been one more had Javier Hernandez not fired it wide at the dying giggs as united managerminutes of the stoppage time after having been put clear by Juan Mata with a perfectly weighted trough ball.

Relief ruled over Old Trafford as finally United began to play in the way they have been popular. As it seemed Giggs did ngiggs as united managerothing special but injected in some confidence into the players and it worked wonders for him and his very own Manchester United. For the record he has bettered his master Sir Alex Ferguson as the manager of Manchester United with the win against Norwich City since Sir Alex, who began his managerial career at United against the same side, failed to produce a win on that day. taking that into account it might be said that he is ahead of his master. But whether he will be able to maintain that in distant future…Well we have to just Keep Calm and Believe.
