Pakistan is expected to grant MFN (Most Favoured Nation) Status to India by October 2012.
Abdul Basit, spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Office, said: “October next year is the time frame which has been given for granting the status to India.”
He said that that the Ministry of Commence was working on the process and that the issue would be settled “in sync with our interests and WTO rules.”
