Virbhadra Singh files defamation suit against Arun Jaitley

HP Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has filed a defamation case against senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley and Himachal Pradesh BJP Chief Prem Kumar Dhumal for accusing him of taking bribe from a power company.

Arun Jaitley led BJP had launched protest against Virbhadra Singh of corruption. BJP alleged that Virbhadra Singh had taken bribe form a power company for favouring it. Arun Jaitley also written to CBI and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the matter and demanded probe into the allegations.

Virbhadra Singh has denied the charges and said he has trust of Congress high command.

“My conscience is clear, I have done no wrong, I am being hounded by Prem Kumar Dhumal, his sons and the BJP at large. I have blessings of the Congress high command and above all blessings of the people of Himachal Pradesh,” Virbhadra said.
