PM says running a coalition government is not easy

Manmohan SinghPrime Minister Manmohan Singh said the rising corruption in the country is a problem. He also said that the running a coalition government in the centre is a very tough job. The PM said that government will make sure that the financial growth in the country sustains and government will take strong measures to reduce the fiscal deficit.

Speaking at the annual general meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Wednesday Manmohan Singh said, “We will do everything to ensure that inflows remain strong for the next two years. It’s important to ensure that financial strength is there to support investment instead of being absorbed by the government deficit.”

“We can act forcefully to remove the many domestic constraints that have arisen to get the economy to perform at full potential,” PM said.
