In the wake of the controversial statements made by two Union Ministers, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday, disapproved of ministers and those leaders of his party indulging in making controversial statements. Singh said on Friday that extra caution needs to be taken by those in power.

Speaking firmly against the controversial statements, Singh said, “We can’t get away by saying that statements were misinterpreted or twisted. We need to be extra careful while putting forth our views.”

“I feel that as leaders of the ruling party, we must all be extra cautious while making any statement,” he added while addressing the reporters in the capital.

Singh’s statement comes in as two Union Ministers landed themselves in a mess after making controversial statements on sensitive issues.
