Beni Prasad Verma regrets over his comments on Mulayam Singh Yadav

Amidst tremendous pressure after DMK’s pull out from the government, the UPA has today made Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma to regret publicly over his comments on Samajwadi party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.

After meeting with the Manmohan Singh, Verma said that he regrets his comments.

On Monday Beni Prasad Verma accused UPA ally and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav of supporting terrorism. He alleged that Mulayam Singh has links with terrorists.

Samajwadi Party members had sought an apology from Verma and they demand his resignation.

The UPA government now required active supports from Samajwadi party to sustain on power.
