Arvind Kejriwal refuses Z category security

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has rejected Uttar Pradesh government’s proposal of Z category security to him following the attack on Aam Aadmi Party office in Kaushambi on Wednesday.

Refusing the offer, Arvind Kejriwal has said he wants to end the VIP culture and he does not need any security.

“I don’t need it. I only need security for crowd management,” Kejriwal told NDTV.

Meanwhile AAP said that they have received 4000 calls in just 7 hours on anti-corruption helpline in ‘janata darbars’.

“This Saturday all ministers will sit in front of the secretariat. After that a minister will sit every day between 9.30 and 11 am. Urgent grievances will be solved over the phone immediately,” Arvind Kejriwal said.

The AAP says the action against those legitimate complaints will be processed within 24 hours.
