The Karnataka government has rejected the demand of CBI probe into the death of IAS officer DK Ravi who was allegedly been killed by sand mafia.

Under pressure Karnataka Home Minister KJ George said IGP CID Pronab Mohanty will continue to investigate the case.

Ravi’s parents have been demanding CBI probe and threatened suicide in case government does not meet their demand.

Reacting to the development, BJP leader Sadananda Gowda said, “The parents are also demanding a CBI probe. There are so many people in the state who are asking for it. As the CM of the state, is it not Siddaramaiah’s responsibility to fulfill their demand.”

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has assured the parliament that center is ready for the CBI probe if state government requested for it.

“If state government will demand it, we are ready for a CBI enquiry,” Singh said.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
