Vishwaroopam ‘ban’ ends as Kamal Haasan agrees to delete 7 scenes

The ban on the release of Actor and director Kamal Haasan’s controversial film ‘Vishwaroopam’ ends peacefully as the filmmaker agrees to delete 7 ‘offensive scenes’ from the film after talks with Muslim groups on Saturday.

Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam Hassan will announce the release date of ‘Vishwaroopam’ very soon.

“I’ve arrived at a consensus with my Muslim brothers. We’ve agreed to cut some scenes from the film which they found to be objectionable,” Kamal Haasan informed media.

The Muslim groups also decided to withdraw protests after the talks.

The meeting between the two parties – Kamal Hassan and Muslims groups – was initialed by the TN government on Friday. Kamal Hassan also thanked Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa for moderate the situation.

The Rs.95 crore mega budget film Vishwaroopam’s Hindi version has already released in the rest of the country on Feb 1st.  The film is getting rave reviews across India.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
