The Iranian government has issued strict orders to suspend pilgrimages to the nation of Saudi Arabia’s holy places as a mark of protest against an alleged case of molestation of two Iranian teenage boys, according to the statement issued by the Cultural Ministry on Monday.

Further insights into the case reveal that two Saudi corps have been involved in the matter as they attempted to assault the teenagers at the Jeddah airport as they prepared to fly back to their home nation after their pilgrimage. The Cultural Minister Ali Jannati, in a statement to the state television said, ‘Considering what has happened, Iranians’ dignity has been damaged and an application demand has been formed’.

The Haj committee has been ordered to retain the ban until and unless the criminals had been caught and tried severely. Several leaders have condemned this act.
