Egypt has declared state of emergency for one month following nationwide violent clashes between Pro-Morsi supporters and military forces.

Egypt announces State of Emergency According to Egyptian state TV the Egyptian presidency has taken the step after 120 Morsi supporters were reportedly killed by the state forces on Wednesday morning when security forces were disbanding two major Islamist protest camps in Cairo and Giza.

Over 850 people were injured in the clash.

The Egyptian presidency released one statement which said that the state of emergency was imposed because of ongoing dangers and deliberate sabotage acts by some extremist groups.

Reacting to the news,  Muslim Brotherhood, who demands reinstatement of former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi, said in a statement, “The world cannot sit back and watch while innocent men, women and children are being indiscriminately slaughtered. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
