Prime Minister David Cameron, keen on reopening the British embassy

The British Prime Minister David Cameron is said to be quite keen on re- opening the British embassy back in Tehran. He told the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday. Thanks to the nuclear deal that has implemented the fresh start in the relations that led to the opening of the embassy.

“The Prime Minister expressed his hope that this deal would mark a fresh start in bilateral relations between the UK and Iran,” Cameron’s spokesman said of the telephone call.

“The Prime Minister made clear that he remained committed to re-opening the British embassy in Tehran,”

The British embassy was then closed when hundreds of Iranian demostrators attacked the building in 2011.
