A gunman has been “neutralized” and over 20 children who were taken as hostage at a Moscow school, are free now.

A police officer and a teacher were killed in the attack.

According to Reuters a gunman has took over a high school in Russia’s capital, Moscow on Monday after shot and killed a security officer and took over 20 students as hostage.

Reuters quoted Russian news website Lifenews which says the man has a rifle and shot at a policeman.

Initial report suggested that the man was the father of a student. Some other reports suggest that he was a former student of the school.
