M&M Introduced SUV Rexton

On Thursday at 11th Auto Expo Indian car major Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled its new sports utility vehicle – Rexton in association with its Korean subsidiary SsangYong Motor.

The SUV Rexton will launched the Indian market within next six months and the company is aiming to sell 500-600 units of Rexton per month.

Mahindra & Mahindra President (Automotive and Farm Sector) Pawan Goenka told reporters, “We are developing an all new platform with SsangYong. It will be for two different products, but with same platform and engine… It will take 3-4 years to develop.”

It will takes Rs 600-800 crore investment on this project.
