German automobile giant BMW is calling back almost 5,70,000 of its cars in the United States and Canada due to battery cable malfunction which is causing engines to stall.
BMW is recalling the cars which are mainly manufactured and sold between the year 2007 and 2011. It includes 3-series sedans, 1-Series coupes, wagons, convertibles and coupes.
According to BMW, the problem starts from movement between the battery cable and the fuse box which is causing engines to stall unexpectedly.
BMW dealers will replace the battery cable connector for free.
