Tata Motors launches Nano Twist at Rs 2.36 lakh

Tata Motors has launched much awaited Tata Nano twist on Monday at Rs. 2.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The revamped iconic small car, the Tata Nano Twist, comes with attractive interior furnished with an electric power steering system.

“The new Nano Twist comes with an Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system, designed for easy manoeuvring in tight driving and parking situations,” said Tata Motors..

Introducing the Nano Twist, Ranjit Yadav, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “The Nano Twist will redefine customer’s driving experience in city traffic with the EPAS. It comes loaded with trendy features, exciting new colour and sporty interiors.”

The Nano Twist runs on 624cc 2 cylinder gasoline engine with water cooled, multi-point fuel inject.

“The engine produces 38PS power, 51 Nm torque. The Nano offers a fuel efficiency of 25.4 kmpl, as certified by the Automotive Research Association of India,” said Tata Motors.

India’s cheapest car Tata Nano Twist comes in all-new Damson Purple paint shade and features new instrument cluster with LED fuel and temperature gauges. The company claimed that they have addressed Nano’s earlier weaknesses and made a solid electric power steering unit in association with ZF and Bosch. The Tata Nano Twist now has ‘brushless’ motor and ‘Active Return’ feature which is exclusive in this segment.
