Team Anna supporters protested outside Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s residence at 7 Race Course Road today evening.

Police have detained around 46 protestors including six women and were taken them to the nearby Chanakyapuri police station in New Delhi.

The protestors were holding placards and banners and shouting slogans against the government. They were also blocked the traffic temporarily.

The protest was quite sudden affair as media was unaware of the event. The speculations are that the plan may be a brainchild of Team Anna who is desperately seeking for mass supports.

This time around Team Anna is not getting the same support which they had enjoyed last year. The crowds are not turning up towards the venue and it becomes the worry concern for the organizers. Team Anna was expecting large number of protests like the last time.

Meanwhile key Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal has urged Anna Hazare not to go on fast from Sunday.
