Apple sold three million iPads in just 3 days

Setting a new record, Apple has sold three million iPads in three days courtesy to demand of new iPad mini and fourth generation iPad.

Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, said, “Customers around the world love the new iPad mini and fourth generation iPad. We set a new launch weekend record and practically sold out of iPad minis. We’re working hard to build more quickly to meet the incredible demand.”

Apple admits that the delay of supplying of iPad mini to the many pre-order customers have not fulfilled initially due to huge demand for the same, however most of the customers may receive the same later this month.
