Amul to set up Rs 200 crore dairy plant in Varanasi

Modi’s gift to Varanasi is on the way. Gujarat based dairy Amul is going to set up Rs 200 crore factory in Narendra Modi’s new constituency – Varanasi.

As promised to the people of this temple town, BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi has begun his exercise to rebuild the ancient holy city.

AmulPalanpur-based Banas Dairy, a member the union of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation that markets Amul, will set up a dairy firm which will produce five lakh litres milk per day with the capacity to double the production.

Confirming the news Banas Dairy Chairman Parthi Bhatol said, “We’ve completed the process with UP State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd for land acquisition at Karkhianv industrial area near Varanasi airport.”

“We will start with milk, curd and buttermilk packaging, and later add ice cream and other dairy products,” added Bhatol.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav who is known rival to Modi, has welcomed the investment and has offered Amul 30 acres land in Varanasi.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
