Life’s a Breeze Plays cool at TIFF

Life's a BreezeToronto was pleased with “Kisses” played back in 2008. This 2013, Lance Daly is back with another maverick character-driven Irish fable – “Life’s a Breeze”. The movie tells the story of a family as they search for a lost fortune around the streets of Dublin. Inspired by an Israeli human-interest story – Daly relocates the plot to Dublin. As a crowd-pleasing director he is – he never went wrong in bringing all entertaining elements in his movie. After a fumbling attempt for an American thriller – the Irish director is back with his usual spirit – to his own home ground dealing in a subject he is comfortable with. Running a barely 83 minutes, “Life’s a Breeze” is sure to hit the festival circuit with a tinge of mass appeal everywhere.
