Jeremy Renner’s next “Kill The Messenger” grabs eyeballs worldwide

Jeremy Renner, one of the most famous contemporary actors of the world who came into limelight from The Avengers, The Bourne Legacy and The Hurt Locker is all set to play the true life controversial investigative reporter of US Gary Webb.

Based on a famous book by Nick Schou of the same title, Michael Cuesta of L.I.E. fame is directing the movie. The movie boasts of a casting sweep including Jeremy Renner, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Paz Vega. Ray Liotta is the latest inclusion in the star studded movie.

The plot revolves around Gary Webb who exposed the CIA’s role in arming Contra rebels in Nicaragua. He also exposed the naked truth which exposed how CIA was involved of importing cocaine in LA, California. Gary eventually became the target of the vicious smear campaign that drove him to the point of suicide.

The film will be released worldwide in 2014. The worldwide enthusiasm rose high for the plot as also for the casting sweep rest till then!
