Batman Vs Superman: The waits for the confrontation

After the incredible success of The Avengers, Warner Brothers and DC Comics were planning for Justice League which was supposed to be released on summer 2015. The world was restless for cherishing its own favorite superheroes – Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and the Flash united on the big screen.

Copy of Batman Vs SupermanAfter months of rumors, breathless anticipations, wild speculations and viral gossips – the dream fell apart. Justice League was shelved, precisely dropped. But from the ashes of the burnt hopes – raised a meteoric ray of irresistible news – a Superman/ Batman movie. Both the messiahs sharing a single screen.

As announced at Comic-Con, movie will be directed by Zack Snyder. Snyder is currently working on the story along with screenwriter David Goyer. Though they are yet to declare any official release date as on yet – they have confirmed the movie to be hitting theatres summer 2015.

Though they didn’t disclose any possible plots, the screenwriter was quoted as “We’re actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it’s–that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that’s happening.”

Henry Cavill is supposed to hone as Superman. And, after a month after the declaration of the movie, Ben Affleck was announced as the proposed Batman.

Ben Affleck received a mixed response – with an uncanny petition against his casting taking over Christian Bale given Bale’s master performance in the Batman trilogy of Nolan.

Ben Afflect as BatmanAfter the Affleck controversy and more over the ‘intentional’ omission of Nolan and his wife’s name as involved at the official announcement of the film, Christopher Nolan was reportedly stepped down as the executive producer of the film.

Whatever may be the reason, the movie has been in news ever since it has been announced. It is creating buzz for all possible reasons and the latest rumor being that the production house has chosen Detroit, Michigan a possible stand-in for Batman’s Gotham. Another possible place is said to be Morocco.

With soaring expectation, abound speculation the movie is all set to go on floors at a very near date.
