Movie Review: Pati, Patni Aur Woh

Cast: Kartik Aryaan, Bhoomi Pednekar, Ananya Pandey
Director: Muddasar Aziz

The movie revolves around Kartik akka Abhinav Tyagi who is an innocent and so called sanskari boy who respects every decision taken by his parents. Pwd Officer by profession, Abhinav married Bhoomi akka Tripathi who promised to be a good house wife after marriage. Abhinav and Tripathi had a good life style and after three years of marriage he started feeling bored of his day to day routine. He did not liked the way his life is going and wanted something extra from it.

Then comes Ananya akka Tapasya as a customer to buy plot. Abhinav was asked to take her responsibility and show her the places around Kanpur where she can choose what to buy for her boutique. This process of frequent meets and passing of smiles Abhinav started enjoying the time he used to spend with Tapasya and drifted away from his own wife.

Husbands always feel that their wives are not beautiful while other men think just the opposite. Same case is with Abhinav. For him his wife is less pretty but for a boy in her coaching class she is no less than Kareena Kapoor. He is a die-hard fan of Kareena Kapoor and feels that his teacher is also like her. Like always, truth prevails. Tripathi finds out that Abhinav has been hanging out with a girl since long time and decides to teach him a lesson. He elopes with her ex-boyfriend and a lot of chaos happens within both the families.

Abhinav on the other hand had been lying to Tapasya about his wife. Tapasya went and informed his parents about Tripathi’s love affair and situation goes out of hand.

This movie definitely gives a lesson to all the men who assumes their life to be boring once they get married and settle down. People in today’s world think that a girl is as good as a servant who gives her life to the family but doesn’t get anything back in return. After the chaos what do you think must have happened?
