Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam will be released on Thursday in TN

Good news for Kamal Haasan fan in Tamil Nadu! Hasaan’s latest film ‘Vishwaroopam’ will be released in the state on Thursday after the Tamil Nadu government withdraws its petition before the Madras High Court.

Vishwaroopam, which was cleared by the censor board, ran into deep trouble in Tamil Nadu when Muslim groups strongly objected its release in the state. The Tamil Nadu government had banned the release of Vishwaroopam in fear of law and order issue. Kamal Haasan Knocked the door of Madras High Court, but the court upheld the order and advised Hasaan to sort the problem by talking to parties concerned.

Vishwaroopam controversy ends last week when the actor-director agrees to delete ‘seven objectionable scenes’ in the movie after marathon meetings with Muslim groups and government.
