Taylor Swift receives restraining order against the stalker

The pop sensation Taylor Swift has received restraining order against the stalker who was threatening to kill anyone who ‘gets in the way’ of their ‘marriage’.

A 33-year-old Timothy Sweet has been claiming to be Taylor’s husband and stalking her for the last three years. He has sent several threats to her via email, posts and social media. He swore to murder anyone who would come between them.

“My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverley Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life,” one of his message reads.

In another message he threatens to kill anyone who “gets in the way” of their marriage.
“Dearest Taylor, I’ll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate,” he wrote.

The 24-year-old singer has said that Sweet’s behaviour was “seriously alarming and harassing and are extremely distressing to me and my family”.

Court has restricted Sweet to stay ‘100 yards away from her’ and her family.
