Rihanna named most influential pop star

According to The Nation, Pop Star Rihanna has over past Beyonce and Katy Perry to be named the most influential pop star in the world.

The 25-year-old ‘Umbrella hitmaker’ wins the top position in a list made by 4Music following an analysis of social media activity, airplay and press coverage.

‘Crazy In Love hitmaker’ comes in second place while ‘One Direction’ makes it to third, Katy Perry is at number four and Justin Bieber comes in fifth.

Meanwhile Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Rapper Chris Brown has indicated that he is going to dedicate his new album X to Rihanna.

“The song and the album title ‘X’ has a couple different meanings. It can refer to an ex-girlfriend, in terms of you always look forward to moving forward from. It’s also about being a reject in a sense. In me being myself, being able to grow up, me not always hanging around the right crowd or doing the right thing all the time — it’s me saying, ‘I’m over it. I’m’,” 23-year-old Chris Brown said.
