A versatile, outstanding and multi-talented actor, Irrfan Khan died at the age of 53 on 29th April, 2020. The super talented actor had done many movies in Hindi and acted in Hollywood movies as well. For his impressive acting he had won numerous awards as well. Born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Irrfan Khan had acted in many TV series in his earlier stage of life. Irrfan Khan enacted in various television series like Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Sara Jahan Hamara, Banegi Apni Baat, Chandrakanta and many more. In the year 1998, Irrfan Khan made his Bollywood debut with ‘Salaam Bombay.’
After many TV series and unsuccessful movies, Irrfan Irrfan Khan was casted for the lead role in ‘The Warrior’ by the London-based director Asif Kapadia. People liked the movie and it was opened in The International Film Festival in 2001. After this Irrfan became famous and came into the spotlight. His works were appreciated when he won the Filmfare Best Villain Award for the film “HAASIL” in the year 2004. Later in 2007 he was featured in ‘Life in a Metro’ which was a hit at the box office. He received the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for ‘Metro’ and ‘Namesake’.
In the early stage of life Irrfan Khan was selected in the Col C.K Nayudu Trophy at the U-23 level’s state team but couldn’t make it to the matches because of funds issue. Indeed, destiny had some other plans for him. Who knew that life would take a big turn and he will get a scholarship in the Delhi School of Drama in New Delhi. Since then Irrfan had been trying to reach every goal he had set in his childhood.
