Court defers hearing of Salman Khan's hit-and-run case

The Sessions court has deferred the hearing of actor Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case till April 8.

This was supposed to be the first hearing at the Sessions court, after the case was transferred by the magistrate under section 304-II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).

If convicted, then Salman Khan will get jail term up to 10 years.

One person was killed and four were injured by a Land Cruiser in Bandra on September 28, 2002 which was allegedly driven by Salman Khan.
