Aditya Chopra will be back with Befikre

On his father’s 83rd birth anniversary, Aditya Chopra has announced that his next directorial venture would be Befikre. He made his last film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” 7 years back.

“So with the blessings of my father, on his 83rd birth anniversary, I am announcing my next directorial venture after seven years. Befikre – Those who dare to love,” he wrote.

Although Yash Chopra wanted him to direct the “biggest films of YRF”, but Aditya said Befikre is “not that”. He also said that this film may not even in the same league of his earlier movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Mohabbatein.

“I don’t want to keep trying to better my films. I want to make what makes me happy, and I’m sure if I do that well, the numbers will follow,” he wrote.

Aditya wrote that Befikre would be a light-hearted fun-filled romantic film with happy ending.

“It’s my happiest film. My youngest film. My riskiest film,” he said.
