Wordsmith – An Online National Poetry Contest

To encourage and create an unique forum for aspiring Poets, Spectralhues.com joins hand with other mega portals to launches national Poetry contest: Wordsmith.

Spectralhues has joined hand with wizkonect.com, Book Readers Lounge, Youth 24X7, VnV Magzine, AAB, Zuvvu and Cupidspeaks.com to create ‘Wordsmith’. to recognize and Nurture the art of  poetry.  It is aim to provide a literary stage to the promising and talented Indian poets. Spectralhues is proud to become associated with Wordsmith which is also going to support those who are serious about pursuing a career in writing.


Many Indian poets who write in English and look for a great platform now can participate and get opportunity for their works to be published. Now many of the aspiring poets can share their dreams, emotions, sentiments and joy through this platform.

The contest starts from 10th July. The last date of submission of poems is 15th September. The Winners will be announced on 25th September. Along with other prizes, 200 selected poems will be published in book format by one reputed publishing house.

“Poetry is beauty and beauty is endless, therefore, poetry is endlessly beautiful.”  Participate in Wordsmith poetry contest and get your Poem published.

Rules & Regulations:

*The competition is open to all Indians who love poetry writing.

*There is no age limit attached to this competition.

*To participate in this competition one can submit ONE entry with complete author
profile.

*The poems should be written by one author; multiple writers for one poem will not be accepted.

*All poems should be original and finding of duplication will be subject to disqualify.

*Entries has to be fresh and not have been published anywhere.

*Poem has to be Author’s sole right.

*All entered poems must be in English. Other language poems or translations from regional
poems are not eligible.

*No boundaries to word limit. Let your mind flow with the heart and give us the best piece of work.

*All entries should be in Times New Roman with font size 12, typed in black and submitted as a
Word Document.

*No nasty/vulgar poems/writing will be accepted.

*Entries must not insult any individual, institute or religion.

Timeline:

The contest is open from 10th July to 15th September. All entries should be sent by 15th September. After that no submission will be accepted.

Awards:

Top 200 poems selected by our judges will walk in to “Book of Poetry:Words of the Smith” and its one copy will be presented to each contributor of these 200.

Top three will be gifted prize hampers worth Rs. 3000 each and will also have an opportunity for a face 2 face interaction with our eminent judges.

All participants will also have Participation certificate.

The book will be launched at the annual event of “Sanskriti”

Registration Process:

*All entries should send to wizkonect@gmail.com via email. No hard copy will be accepted.

*Participant has to send their profile along with latest snap.

*While submitting the poem online, the author should mention name, address, phone number, e-
mail id and profile.

*Entry fees for each participant will be Rs. 100/- through payment gateway at wizkonect.com
