Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi said BJP is the party of anti-poor and only works for industrialists. Mocking BJP’s ‘Indian Shinning’ campaign, Rahul said BJP don’t listen to the voice of common man and only focused on “air conditioned and industrialised politics”.
Speaking at an election rally in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, Rahul said, “Politics of India Shining suppressed the voice of people of Bundelkhand for development. Bundelkhand did not come under India Shining.”
“We brought Land Acquisition Bill and it was a long fight. Only we know how we fought for the bill, enabling the poor to get the market rate. We have brought a bill which will give you four times compensation for your land. We talk about right to food because we walk with everyone,” Rahul said.
Rahul urged people to vote out Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s corrupt government and said he is confident that Congress will win the elections.
“MP government is not utilising funds sent for the welfare of people. We made more roads than what the BJP could do during its regime,” he said.
Madhya Pradesh Assembly election will be taken place on November 25 and counting will be done on December 8. Poll surveys are predicting landslide victory for current BJP government.
