100 Crore Insurance cover for Tendulkar’s House?

It is reported that iconic cricketer  Sachin Tendulkar’s new  6,000 square feet five-story house in Bandra west gets Rs.100 crore insurance cover.

Media speculates that  this is a two part insurance cover. 75 crore is for a fire insurance which also covers  terror attacks and natural disasters, and remaining Rs. 25 crore is for the other household items like furniture, electronic gadgets and cricket accessories etc.

The annual premium would be approximately Rs 40 lakh. This insurance deal is one of the biggest by any individual in India.
