Apple may launch iPhone 6 in August

According to latest reports Apple may launch 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in coming August. The world’s richest smartphones maker may also launch 5.5-inch version of iPhone 6 in September this year.

Taiwanese media has reported that Apple’s next generation iPhone will come to market in August. However the reports do not suggest in which market the iPhone 6 will make its debut.

Reuters have reported that 5.5-inch or 5.6-inch version of iPhone 6 will be released in September.

According to the Economic Daily News, Apple will produce around 80 million iPhone 6 handsets in this year.

Apple’s decision to increase iPhone’s traditional screen size from 4 inches to 5.5 and above is actually a smart move to take on rival Samsung’s smartphones especially the galaxy series.
