KG student sexually abused in Bangalore

A shocking and appalling incident has come into picture from Bangalore where another toddler has been sexually abused. This incident has happened at the Bangalore branch of Orchid The International School. According to the reports emerging out at this stage, the mother of the toddler found the truth first and the girl’s father lodged the complaint with the Bangalore police on Tuesday.

Venkatesh as saying, “We have registered a criminal case late Tuesday on a complaint by the victim’s father that his young daughter was sexually abused in the Orchid The International School premises.”

This incident came into limelight when the girl’s mother picked her up from the school and found her crying. On asking her, she told about the incident to her mother. Her father then lodged a complaint. According to an IANS report, in his complaint the girl’s father said, “The victim had signs of fever and complained to her mother that she was physically abused by someone she did not know or recognize.”

The Commissioner of Police visited the school on Tuesday and also appointed ACP Sarah Fatima on this case. The police are currently investigating into the case. They are scanning CCTV footages in the school premises to get information.

Meanwhile, concerned parents of other students studying in the school gathered outside the school premises to hear it from the school management on the incident. But due to the Diwali holidays, the school authorities were not accessible.

As of now, the Banglore police have registered a case against anonymous suspect under sections 4 and 6 of the Pocso Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012) and section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

A similar incident had happened at Vibgyor High School’s Banglore branch where a primary section girl was raped by a skating instructor and two gym instructors. City had witnessed large protests in the aftermath of the incident.
