  • The Man in the High Castle: Season 2

Loosely based on Philip K. Dick’s novel of the same name and produced by Amazon, The Man in the High Castle is a science fiction drama that came out in November, 2015. The show is set in an alternate timeline where the Axis powers won the Second World War and told the story of a bunch of characters that discovered a set of films containing footages from the real world. Despite its minor flaws, TMITHC was received extremely positively by viewers and critics alike and received praise for its story, sci-fi elements, and depiction of its fictional setting.  The show’s original cast and crew is set to return in season two and will be a worthwhile watch for viewers who love dramas and sci-fi shows.

Season 2 of The Man in the High Castle will be available from December 16th, leaving viewers to catch up with the first season if they already haven’t.

  • Doctor Who: The Return of Doctor Mysterio

The eventful ninth series of Doctor Who which aired in 2015 was a treat to fans as it featured some great episodes unraveling a major milestone in the show’s overarching plot and saw the departure of Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) from the show. The show has, since then, been on an extensive hiatus which will end soon when the Doctor Who returns with a Christmas special. The episode will see The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) team up with a masked vigilante played by Justin Chatwin to save New York from an alien invasion. “The Return of Doctor Mysterio” will kick off the tenth series of Doctor Who which is set to premiere in April, 2017, which would be the show’s final season with Steven Moffat serving as the showrunner.

The Return of Doctor Mysterio will air on 25th December

  • White Rabbit Project

Being one of the most popular networks today, Netflix has made it a habit to release at least one major show every month. White Rabbit Project is a reality-science show from Netflix which will be available for streaming from this month. The show will star Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, and Kari Byron as they investigate various events and topics of interest in pop-culture such as “jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists, and crazy World War II weapons”. The starring trio is famous for appearing in the popular science show Mythbusters, which is White Rabbit Project’s spiritual predecessor.

All episodes of White Rabbit Project will be available for streaming from December 9th.

  • Mid-Season Finales

One of the best things about December is that most of the Fall season shows will air their mid-season finales during the month. These winter finales showcase the conclusion of these shows’ first half, significantly advance the plot, and are much more eventful than the episodes leading up to it. Besides, as frustrating as they might be, who doesn’t love a great cliffhanger that leaves you craving for more of your favorite shows. So here are the dates when the mid-season finales of some popular shows will air:

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD – 14th December

The Big Bang Theory – 16th December

The Flash – 7th December

Supernatural – 9th December

Arrow – 8th December

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
