Massy action entertainers in the 90’s is almost synonymous with Sunny Deol and his ‘dhaai kilo kaa haath’. Most of them worked. Some didn’t. But all of them were about injustice and then, revenge meted out by our hero. Sunny Deol returns with a sequel to his own award-winning superhit ‘Ghayal’. In his second directorial venture (also after a hiatus), he does what he is best at; punches and beats the baddies. But ‘Ghayal Once Again’ works to an extent because it is a partly well-made film. Involving youngsters, Sunny makes a relevant movie and a few action sequences stand out. They don’t make villains like Amrish Puri anymore so you will definitely miss Balwant Rai but Sunny Deol as Ajay Mehra tries to keep you engaged. At a time when his movies don’t pull the crowd anymore, I’m glad this one has got a good opening. It’s still better than most mindless biggies churned out these days.
